"Tell us of a funny incident that happened in your career?"
"Well in 97/98, I had to teach a course to senior bureaucrats. Many major personalities of Pakistan were a part of that course. When I entered the room the Secretary of FBR, at the time, came up to me and asked, "Son, when is the professor coming?" When I told him that I was the professor, he laughed and joked that someone so young wasn't supposed to teach elderly people like him. I personally believe that this is a culturally negative thing in us. It is very difficult for senior people to accept the fact that they will be taught by someone who is junior to them. However, I can finally see this diminishing. A professor is given respect by most people now, irrespective of the individual's age."
